Our Mission
Our mission is to bring illumination, joy, and connection to children with autism and seniors through puzzles, activities, and caring interactions.
What We Do
Puzzle Drives
We host puzzle drives to collect puzzles and games for kids with autism and seniors in nursing homes. These activities bring joy while helping support cognitive development, fine motor skills, and meaningful engagement.
Regular Visits
We regularly visit kids with autism and seniors to work on puzzles, play games, listen to their stories, and share music and dance. Through these visits, we build friendships, encourage social connections, and create moments of joy and companionship.
Customized Gifts
We create customized puzzles and gifts for kids with autism and seniors based on their interests and preferences. These personalized gifts encourage engagement while giving each recipient a meaningful keepsake to enjoy and treasure.
Community Outreach & Advocacy
We participate in community events to raise awareness and promote compassion, inclusion, and connection for kids with autism and seniors. Through outreach and advocacy, we share our mission, connect with families, and encourage more young people to get involved in serving their communities.

Co-Founder
Sarah Li
Sarah is a student at McLean High School. She has loved solving puzzles from a young age and is excited to use her passion to serve the community. Apart from doing jigsaw puzzles, she also loves coding, math, writing, and art.

Grace Yuan
Grace is a student at Thomas Jefferson High School. She is passionate about helping others in the community and loves the challenge jigsaw puzzles provide. She also loves reading and listening to music.

Hanna Ni
Hanna is a student at McLean High School. She has always had a passion for serving those in need and has participated in several volunteering events in the past. As Event Coordinator, she is very excited to help the POI community serve at different fun and interesting events.

Jenny is a student at McLean High School. She is always been fascinated by science and crafting, and hopes to bring this interest to support people in our community. Besides running experiments making handmade projects, she also enjoys reading, drawing and creative design.

Teddy Yao
Teddy is a student and the president of the Active Minds chapter at River Hill High School. Teddy is passionate about raising awareness about autism, its connection with mental health, and reducing the stigma of an autism diagnosis. He enjoys spending time with friends, playing soccer, and staying actively involved in his community.
Web Designer
Marcus Young
Marcus is a senior at Langley High School. He runs Smyze Web, a freelance web design studio, and built and maintains POI's website. In his free time, he likes to swim competitively and spend time with friends.
